I want to give a shout-out to Bali for helping me out with this, since I'm pretty retarded when it comes to these things.
I thought I would easily be able to make my first blog without any problems since I like to talk a lot but it seems that I have forgotten some of the things that I had planned on writing down so I guess I'll just go with what I do best - talk about whatever I want until I run out of thoughts or need to step out for a smoke.
My name is Ubaid Khan and I live in Toronto, Canada. Im 26 years old, single, and ready to mingle with Bingles (sup cutie). Im the 4th child of 5 children and my parents are of Indian (Hyderabadi) descent. My Father came to Canada in the mid 70's and eventually my mom joined him here. Although they had many children, the love between them was barely ever visible, if ever. I always thought it was normal for a man to hold his feelings in unless he was upset, because my father never hesitated showing his frustration and anger towards my mother. Truth be told, I kind of understand where he was coming from but there is a limit to what you do and say. Eventually the two split up and although its hard trying to juggle time with both parents, I'm happier and I'm pretty sure the two of them are too, even though I'm sure they both miss one another at times. My father never failed at being a father and I will always say that he went above and beyond for us every single time, but as a husband he failed miserably. I hope I don't follow his lead in that regard.
My mother was a pretty strict mother and wouldn't allow us to go out much or if she did, she would make sure we had at least one brother with us. Not exactly the most trusting person and as a matter of fact, she was always suspicious of SOMETHING or another! I love her to death but at times I wanted to blow my brains out and have her watch me do it.
What else can I say.....I've probably been in more "serious" relationships than the average guy, and they were all utter failures. I guess I was just looking for somebody who was willing to give me a chance after knowing my past and some of the things that I've done which I'm not exactly proud of. I don't think that was fair to myself though and eventually I did realize that it wasn't worth it anymore and so if I didn't end it, they did.
Although I like recording tracks, I'm pretty disgusted with the hip hop industry and so it makes me want to make music even less. I once had a voice that was tolerable but after all these years of smoking and many years of not really singing, I think Ive lost most of it but hey, who cares. I'd like to say that I am a man with many talents but I am also a man who makes them all go to waste. I turn 27 in April and I honestly feel like I have nothing to show for it. Yeah, I've done a lot of great things for people but I never took care of myself and eventually when I realized that I was going to do what I wanted to and rebelled, I pretty much kept going on with the rebellious stage for a good 5 years. Its never too late to make right of your wrongs and so in a way I guess I made this so that I could document my achievements while having fun and talkin sh*t. I wear my heart on my sleeves and I am very open about every aspect of my life, so feel free to ask any questions that you may have.
